Fish
My selection of fish recipes is increasing rapidly. I am lucky enough to live on an island so the range and quality of white fish and shellfish we can get is truly wonderful.
My white fish recipes are generally fairly easy to prepare as it cooks quickly and easily without much preparation.
Generally shellfish recipes are a bit more complicated as there is usually more work in the preparation. I think King Prawns, for instance look beautiful plated up with the shell on but for a lot of people peeling prawns at dinner is too much work so I end up shelling them as part of the recipe.
I absolutely love lobsters and have included a few lobster recipes. Again, however, lobsters are quite hard to prepare and many guests don't like to have to deal with grappling with getting the lobster meat out of the shell so this is another job I often put on myself!
